Today started off just like any other day, however, I woke up with a new plan. I was on the phone last night with my best friend from college and we are going to the beach in a little over one month. I don't want to go to the beach and be miserable because I am terrified of the way I look. I want to go to the beach and have fun and be confident in my appearance. I am also going to be going to the lake with my family a lot this year and why not go with confidence and make the experience 10 times more fun. I have never blogged before but I am making the decision to start now because I want to hold myself accountable for my workouts. I also want to start making myself aware of what I am eating throughout the day. I do not plan on going on a set diet but I am going to try and cut out the "snacking" portion of my day (which is all the time!!) I am using the "Burst into Summer" bootcamp by Sisterhood of the Shrinking Jeans. I start my workout today. I am also going to be doing the "Oh my Thighs April" calendar challenge. I guess this will be the start of a new adventure!
I didn't start off the day eating to well. I managed to have a few Cheeto Puffs and Starburst Jellybeans but to my defense that was all part of my Easter Basket and I would hate for them to go to waste :). I also decided to drink a Cool Blue Gatorade. I figured that I could use the electrolytes today since I am going to begin my workout and I have been sick so I need that in my system to keep this cold away for good. I took most of the day to clean up around the house, mainly my bedroom and did some laundry along the way. I was constantly thinking about this workout and continued to ask myself when I was planning on getting it accomplished?! The day just kept ticking away and I just kept avoiding working out. I did manage to avoid snacking for most of the day. I had some Chicken Noodle Soup for lunch (with club crackers) and I had Moravian Chicken Pie for dinner. To say the least I had my chicken fix!! I did munch on some of my JellyBeans throughout the day but that was it! :) As for the workout, well after dinner I had finished cleaning for the day and was going to take a shower when I told myself it would be silly to take a shower before working out... So, I decided it was time!! :)

REVIEW
Well it was definitely an adventure. I struggled with the sprints but I expected that because I absolutely HATE to run. But if that's what I need to do to look good at the beach, then that is what I will do! I made it through even though I had to modify it a little bit. I sprinted for 1 minute, 3 times but for the last two times I had to run (and I ran as fast as I could) in place for only about 45 seconds. I started off strong with the lunge kicks but man by the last 5 or so I was feeling the burn. Same thing happened during the squats!!! My poor legs were just a shaking!! I did much better than expected on the push ups and the side plank dips but boy was I surprised by the one arm tricep extensions... I thought oh that's last I will beast that.. .WRONG!!! They were killed. I had to stop after about 5 on each side and take a break then do 5 more! They were intense!!!! The wall sit when smooth even though my legs were already burning. Luckily today was only 30 seconds because I do not think I could have lasted much longer.
All in all I think that day one went pretty smooth. It might be a long month and I will definitely be sore tomorrow but the end product will all be worth it (I HOPE!!!)
DAY ONE COMPLETE!
Talk to you all tomorrow!
